Final 6 Teams:
The Final 6 Teams will return on Thursday March 12th. Teams will be seeded according to the tiebreakers listed in the rules, based on one game only. That is the game they won to advance. We'll review the tiebreakers now.
The first tiebreak is total points, two points for a win- one point for each period won. (A tied period = 1/2 point)
Next tiebreak is Goals Against.
Then SHUTOUT periods.
Winning periods count next.
+/- with a maximum of 5.
Then Penalties in Minutes.
The 1st and 2nd seeds will receive a bye. The 3rd seed will play the 6th seed.
The 4th will play the 5th.
After the first 2 games, the #1 seed will play the lowest remaining seed and the 2nd seed plays the highest remaining seed. Nobody plays back-to-back.
Bottom line: Win 2 games Thursday and we'll see you at the Nassau Coliseum on Saturday!
